Front 4Runner coil spring comparison.

1998 Coil on top, 1999 Coil on the bottom.  Both are from V6, 4WD and 16" wheel trucks.  You can see the 1999 coil has 9 winds and the 1998 coil has 8.

2001 coils are white/pink and white/yellow, the 1999 coils are blue/yellow and blue pink.
