100% bolt on 3/4" Warn Shackle (13047) Hangers.
These shackles replace the front tow hook and the two tie down plates on the front of the frame rails. These units are much stronger then the factory installed hardware. The body is cut out of 2" X 2" square 1/4" thick cold rolled stock. The tab the shackle hangs on is cut out of a solid piece of cold rolled 1" x 2" bar. Once assembled, the front of these parts becomes a solid 2"x2" cube of steel. All of the pieces are sent out to be professionally welded for maximum penetration and are bolted with a 1/2" grade 8 bolt for extra safety. The stock Toyota frame bolts will shear off before these parts even begin to move. There is a great deal of labor that goes into making each pair. Hours of cutting and grinding are required to produce these parts. A pair of these will also fit on the rear of a 4Runner that does not have a trailer hitch. The Warn 3/4" shackles, part number 13047 are NOT included. The shackles can be picked up locally or on the web from a large range of sources. Ace Hardware also sells a very nice 3/4" shackle that will work as well. Two of Toyota Part Number 91642-81235 ($1.57ea.) will also be needed if you do not want to move the stock front hook to the rear. A pair of hangers weighs in at 10 pounds, so you can see that there is quite a bit of metal here.

4Runner Installation Instructions:
1. Remove the stock Toyota
Tow hook and tie down plate from the front passenger side of the vehicle. If you live back east this will be more difficult than the folks who live out west. Save the bolts you will re-use them.
2. Remove the stock Toyota tie down plate from the front drivers side of the vehicle. Save the bolts you will re-use them.
3. Remove the 2 factory bolts from the rear driver’s side of the vehicle. They will either be holding on a trailer hitch or a tie down plate.
You can also pick up two brand new Grade 8.8 M12
X 4CM bolts with 1.25 fine pitch thread or two of Toyota part number 91642-81235
and skip moving the front hook to the
rear.
4. Attach the shackle mounts I made for you on to the front of the vehicle with the 2 short bolts from the drivers side and the 2 short bolts from the rear.
The nuts on the grade 8 reinforcement bolts should point inward.
You may need to bend the very top of the factory skid plate in slightly.
If you have a Rockstomper Type II skid plate this is not necessary.
5. Attach the old front tow hook from the front passenger side to the rear driver’s side with the longer bolts removed from the front passenger side. See picture six.
Skip this if you purchased new bolts in step 3.
6. The Warn Shackle can be tightened with a 5 or 6 inch bolt ran through the hole on the shackle bolt. I would recommend keeping this bolt in your vehicle to assist you in removing and re-tightening the shackles. They have been known to fall off if they the shackle bolts are not tight.

The nuts on the grade 8 reinforcement bolts should point inward. Insert four M12 washers in between the shackle hangers and the frame, not provided. This is so the hanger will not interfere with the plastic strap from the front fairing. You may need to bend the very top of the factory skid plate in slightly. If you have a Rockstomper Type II skid plate this is not necessary.
