We can not get the 1"x2" cold rolled bar right now.

These shackles replace the front tow hook and the two tie down plates on the front of the frame rails. These units are much stronger than the factory installed hardware. The body is cut out of 2" X 2" square 1/4" thick hot rolled tube. The tab the shackle hangs on is cut out of a solid piece of cold rolled 1" x 2" bar.

Once assembled, the front of these parts becomes a solid 2"x2" cube of steel. All of the pieces are professionally welded in house for maximum penetration. The stock Toyota frame bolts will shear off before these parts even begin to move.

There is a great deal of labor that goes into making each pair. Hours of cutting and grinding are required to produce these parts. A pair of these will also fit on the rear of a 4Runner that does not have a trailer hitch.

The Warn 3/4" shackles, part number 13047 are NOT included.

The shackles can be picked up locally or on the web from a large range of sources. Ace Hardware or McMaster Carr (3663T44) also sell a very nice 3/4" shackle that will work as well. Two of Toyota Part Number 91642-81235 ($1.57ea.) will also be needed if you do not want to move the stock front hook to the rear.

A pair of hangers weighs in at 10 pounds, so you can see that there is quite a bit of metal here.

These shackles will fit:

1996-2002 Toyota 4Runners, Stock Front Bumper & Stock Rear Bumper (no trailer hitch)
1999-2002 Toyota 4Runners, With front TJM T-15 or T-17 Bumper
1998-2000 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 & PreRunner Trucks, Front Only
2001-2004 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 & PreRunner Trucks, Front Only

Parts ship bare metal un-finished and insured. Flat Rate USPS shipping is to a USA address ONLY! Canada and International will need to get a shipping quote. We no longer use the threw bolt, because we weld the hangers in house and have improved the welding process so it is no longer needed.
