Custom Furniture: European Walnut Butcherblock Desk

Solid European Walnut Butcher Block Desk.  74" Long x 25" Wide x 1.5" Thick.  We made a custom set of legs with 45 degree support arms.  Legs and angled support are made from 2"x2" square steel tube with a 1/16" thick wall.  Powder Coated in a textured wrinkle finish black.  Feet are automotive bump stops made from polyurethane and will not damage any floor surface.  Legs are secured to the butcherblock with machine screws and the wood has Rampa Tech threaded inserts.  Desk can be dis-assembled and re-assembled without loosing any integrity as the machine screws go into actual metal threads.  Not the wood.  Cable Management hangers attached to underside.  Sanded down to 280 grit on both sides and 4 hand rubbed coats of HOPE'S 100% Pure Tung Oil.  Both sides.  These are custom made depending on what butcher blocks are available.  We can build an entire desk or just make you the legs.  There is a huge amount of labor involved in finishing the wood.
