These diagonal tubes on the 3rd Gen Tacoma prevent the truck from hanging up on the frame crossmember that supports the Transmission/Transfer-case. These tube can take getting scratched very well and will never really wear out even if scratched up. But the bolt protection Toyota added is a joke. We have you cut that off with an angle grinder and a cut off wheel, smooth flat and weld these 2 3/8" OD but 1/4" tall DOM tubes on that are 1/2" high. They can slide over anything and not deform, re-build a very nice Toyota part to be even better. You will receive 2 rings that you or a shop welds on your existing parts. Toyota Part is not provided.
